At the "50's At The Hop" Jingle Bell Rock Show, you'll have a frolicking
fun time with a Christmas show that's completely different!

This is a rockin' Christmas show filled with the glittering sights and
exciting sounds of the 50's. The fabulous Hoppettes and their dazzling
Dreamdates take you on a jaunt through the 50's amid a sparkling stage
decked out with all the sights and sounds of Christmas. As the "50's At
The Hop" show (Branson's 2000 Show of the Year) brings back all the
romantic memories of Christmas you'll thrill to the fun and innocence of
early rock 'n roll.

Over 50 songs are packed into the two-hour show. The talented young cast brings down the house with heart-rending solos, dynamite harmonies and light hearted melodies backed up by Branson's most versatile band. While featuring a first half filled with a variety of 50's favorites, the second half highlights an amazing combination of 50's Christmas Music and Rock-N-Roll Fun.

You'll enjoy songs like "Jingle Bell Rock", "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree", "Gee, Whiz It's Christmas" and more. And you'll hear favorites like "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" by the Temptations, "White Christmas" by the Drifters, and other beloved Christmas songs made famous by early rock 'n rollers, the Motown Sound and pop wonders of the 50's.

Marvin Short, Branson's Four -Time Sax Player of the Year, brings joy to
the world with his rendition of "Christmas Song" and delivers sounds that make your hair stand on end...and his too! The entire award-winning 50's Band rocks the socks off anyone who hasn't hung their Christmas stockings with care.

A highlight of the "50's At The Hop" Jingle Bell Rock show occurs during the tribute to Elvis. From "Blue Christmas" to "Santa Claus Is Back In Town" to "Santa Bring My Baby Back To Me" you'll hear a wonderful medley of Elvis hits. Christmas Shows are November 1 through December 11, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 2:00 PM with an 8:00 PM show on Sundays. The fabulous "50's At The Hop" regular season picks up again on December 27 through December 31, 2004, at 2:00 PM and there's a special 2:00 PM show on January 1, 2005!
